P37

This prototype has a lot of experiments in it. From double-sided AR to Selita Swiss-made escapement components, to hand-polished buckle…

Rightfully so. This prototype belongs to one of our co-founders.

The key highlight of this prototype though is adding patterns to the bridges of the movement. With a movement that we spec-ed, designed, and assembled in-house, we feel that it is only right that we tastefully add our own design elements to the back of the movement, which is showcased through the exhibition case back.

Adding patterns to movement is a challenging task on its own; adding designs to a skeleton movement, which will be cased in a watch that retails under 800USD, is practically unheard of.

The first pattern tested, is a hexagon pattern, as this is a shape that represents EONIQ and has been used in different elements of EONIQ’s design.
